How long will it take?

Using The Halo Process could take a minimum of four weeks from the initial survey creation stage to the analysis and reporting of the results.  You can choose how long you want the survey to be 'live', ranging from one week to four weeks.  The report will be delivered to you via email, a few days after the survey period has been completed.

Will people respond honestly to an on-line survey?

Our experience tells us that people are more honest in giving their views on-line, as they have less inclination to "lie" to their PC because it is entirely non-judgmental.  The results from using Halo Online are more direct and the reporting much more straightforward to use, as it is 'action ready' and doesn't need any sifting of information, whereas the results of telephone or face-to-face interviewing often do.  An on-line survey can also be much quicker and offers better value, enabling you to spend more of your resources on implementing your action plan

How can I maximise the number of our survey responses?

Before you send out the survey to either your staff or customers, let them know in advance they will be shortly receiving a survey, explaining why you are conducting the survey and how you are planning to use the results.  Monitor the survey responses once it has been launched and send out email reminders to your contact list if necessary.

You could also consider offering a free prize draw to people, or sending a summary of the overall results to those who want to see them.  Both of these techniques can increase the number of survey responses. Halo Online allows you to include either option in your survey. 

Once you have had time to consider the overall survey results, distribute the topline survey findings along with any actions you are planning to take.  This will help people understand the value that you place on their opinions and make them more likely to respond to any survey next time.

In what format will the reports be received?

The Halo reports will be produced in a PDF format and sent by email directly to the Halo Guardian a few days after the survey closes.

Will I be able to do any additional analysis with the survey data?

In addition to the written report, you will receive a data file containing the aggregated survey data.  This will be sent as a CSV file, enabling you to conduct extra analysis of the survey results as required.
